“Will Grayson, Will Grayson” was written by the iconic author, John Green, and collaborating author, David Leviathan.

Green is known for his other well-liked published works which include, “The Fault in Our Stars,” “Paper Towns,” and “Looking for Alaska.”

The novel was published on April 6, 2010, and received a positive review by Debra Bogart from Common Sense Media, “This book offers lots of humor, lots of music, and fantastic over-the-top moments that we all can only wish would happen in real life.”

Will Grayson lives in the Chicago suburbs and has a best friend named, Tiny Cooper, who is homosexual. Tiny dreams of creating his own play, “Tiny Dancer: The Tiny Cooper Story” and is inflicted with the desire to love someone.

The other Will Grayson, also lives in the suburbs but is battling depression and an online romance.

However, both of the Will Graysons lives entirely change once they collide in downtown Chicago. Each of their lives become combined with one another and escalates to many teenage romance conflicts.

The novel depicts an adolescent perspective and an element of the LGBT community throughout the story.

In my opinion, the story is interesting and applies relatable situations to peers my age. I also enjoyed the specific references regarding Schrödinger’s cat. I recommend that my peers read this novel to enjoy and intake the characters deeply.

Like Green’s other novels, “Will Grayson, Will Grayson” will never disappoint and will compel you to feel what the character’s feel.
